Gold Canyon Gunfighters
(Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA)

The Gold Canyon Gunfighters consists of a group of historians from various locations around Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, who perform a multitude skits based on actual events that occurred during the mid-to-late 1800's. These events took place in towns scattered throughout the Midwest in states such as Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado. As of August, 2008, the group had around 60 or so skits in their repertoire to choose from and add more on a regular basis as time allows them to research more and more written and oral histories. Each performance offers a variety of skits packed with facts of the event as well as offering different skits each time the group performs.

These folks are an awesome group of individuals who really bring History to life. Many of their skits include quite a bit of humor which has been discovered through much research that laughter helps individuals retain the information more readily and easily. If ever presented with the opportunity to watch this group perform it is something you will never forget. Gary and I look forward to each and every opportunity we have to watch these folks perform. Just have to remember to pack the Aspercreme to rub on the sore stomach muscles after each performance.
